On behalf of the Portuguese Government, I would like to express my personal recognition for the excellent work and support you so promptly provided, on the occasion of the recent humanitarian operation sent by Portugal to help the victims of the catastrophe that unfortunately devastated part of Sri Lanka.
Please extend my recognition to Mr. Mahen Kariyawasan for his untiring help and support to the Portuguese medical teams in Sri Lanka.
I truly believe your contribution was decisive to the success of this operation.
